Buddy recently signed a publishing deal with Anchor Down Entertainment which quickly led to his first major cut. The song is called "When Daddy Met Mama" and will be on a future project by Universal South recording artist Matt Jenkins.

Congratulations to Shannon Lillie Owens, Buddy's wife, who starts filming on the movie "The Hayfield" in April.
Her character is Wren McCall, the leading lady of the film.
